NXPO recently organized an exhibition featuring the STEMPlus platform and incentives for manpower development during Automation & Robotic Day 2024. The event, hosted by the Thai-German Institute in collaboration with Center of Robotic Excellence (CoRE) and partners, took place on 25-26 January 2024 in Chonburi province, showcasing advanced technologies that enhance firm’s productivity and management in the digital era. The Thai-German Institute is a network member of the STEM One-Stop Service (STEM OSS) with a particular focus on robotics & automation.
The STEMPlus platform is designed to foster collaboration in workforce development, education, and research by connecting stakeholders in the industry, academia, and government. The platform was established to address the growing demand for high-skilled workforces in manufacturing and service sectors, enabling higher education institutes to produce graduates equipped with skills required by the industry.
STEMPlus provides a wealth of information and services that benefit enterprises, academia, and the general public. These services encompass STEM employment certification, training course certification in support of the Thailand Plus Package, manpower request submission, a comprehensive list of certified training courses, resume submission, and access to privileges and data on STEM workforce. This exhibition is expected to expand the user base of STEMPlus, ensuring its widespread adoption.
