The opening ceremony of the National Science and Technology Fair 2024: Future Science Community for All took place on 17 August 2024 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), officiated the event and presented the Prime Minister’s Science Awards to outstanding teachers and students.
Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon, Senior Strategist and Acting President of NXPO, revealed that as this year’s fair focuses on preparing for the future, NXPO’s exhibition is themed “Taste of the Future Food”, offering insights into future food trends, including food safety and sustainability, that respond to modern lifestyles. The showcase features a “Future Food Omakase” display demonstrating how raw materials are transformed into future food products through technology and innovation, as well as a “Future Food Omakase Bingo” game.
“In the NXPO Playground Zone, children can paint and take home Poli the Bear keychains, fostering artistic skills and creativity,” said Dr. Siriporn. NXPO’s booth is located in Hall 9, and is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The National Science and Technology Fair 2024 features exhibitions from over 100 organizations. Highlights include the Royal Pavilion, Petrosculpt: Petrochemical Sculpting the World, The Multiverse of AI: Trick or Truth, Extreme Survival on Extreme Lands, STEM Circus: Careers that Shape Tomorrow, THE GLOBE VENGERs, and international exhibitions.
