MHESI-NXPO recently participated in Thailand PCB Talent Matching, a job-matching event hosted by the Taiwan Printed Circuit Association (TPCA) to connect students with leading global printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturers establishing production bases in Thailand.
Participating companies included Unitech PCB (Thailand), Unimicron (Thailand), and Gold Circuit Electronics (GCE), all of which have received investment promotion from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). These companies are seeking skilled Thai professionals for various engineering positions, such as production control engineers and quality control engineers, to support the expansion of Thailand’s PCB industry. This sector plays a crucial role in the semiconductor and advanced electronics supply chain. Students from several universities participated, including Khon Kaen University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Suranaree University of Technology.

In her welcome remarks, Ms. Panisa Harnpathananun, Director of Higher Education Innovation and Future Skills Development Division at NXPO, highlighted the collaboration between NXPO, Thailand’s leading universities, and TPCA in workforce development for the PCB sector through various initiatives since 2024. She reaffirmed NXPO’s commitment to fostering multi-stakeholder cooperation, not only through job-matching programs but also through future training initiatives to equip Thai students with the skills needed for Thailand’s fast-growing PCB industry. This event marks a significant step in aligning Thailand’s workforce development with industry needs and strengthening the country’s position as a regional hub for PCB manufacturing.
