MHESI-NXPO, in collaboration with the College of Art, Media and Technology (CAMT) at Chiang Mai University, hosted a training workshop on virtual production technology for content creators on 26-30 August 2024 at the Virtual Media Lab of the Creative Economy Agency (CEA).

Participants were introduced to virtual production, an emerging technology increasingly utilized in multimedia content creation. The workshop provided hands-on training covering various aspects, including pre-production, virtual production filming, and the use of Unreal Engine software, aimed at enhancing skills and allowing content creators to demonstrate their creativity.

This activity was part of a project to promote creative media industries and soft power in Thailand. The project aims to enhance creative content skills for artists and content creators, supporting the growth of Thailand’s media and multimedia sectors and boosting its soft power.

On 30 August, Ms. Nirada Werasopon, Assistant to the President at NXPO, presided over the closing ceremony and presented certificates to the participants. Also present at the ceremony to congratulate the participants were Dr. Konlawat Klaynak, Associate Dean of CAMT, and Lieutenant Dr. Tanakrit Ekkayokkaya, Deputy CEO of the Thai Media Fund and Chairman of the MHESI Program to Promote Creative Media Industries and Soft Power.
