
On 28 January 2025, MHESI-NXPO participated in a seminar on the University Holding Company (UHC) initiative at Srinakharinwirot University. The event was officiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cholvit Jearajit, Acting President of Srinakharinwirot University and featured distiguished speakers, including Ms. Nirada Werasopon, Assistant to the President at NXPO; Ms. Manunya Chunhavuthiyanon, Director of Innovation Ecosystem for Enhancing Capability of Enterprises Division at NXPO; and Ramade Silapaprom, CEO of CU Enterprise.


Attended by 80 faculty members and staff from Srinakharinwirot University, the seminar aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of UHCs and their role in advancing research and innovation in universities, while contributing to national economic growth. The discussions covered UHC establishment and management, featuring case studies from successful universities to provide practical insights for implementing the UHC model within Srinakharinwirot University.
UHC initiative is one of NXPO’s focused areas to drive research commercialization. Currently, 11 universities in Thailand have established UHCs, overseeing more than 100 subsidiaries and combined investments exceeding 500 million THB.
