NXPO, in collaboration with the College of Arts, Media, and Technology (CAMT) at Chiang Mai University, organized a Virtual Production and Cartoon Design Competition. The event took place on 14 February 2025 at Chiang Mai University.

Dr. Konlawat Klaynak, Associate Dean of CAMT, explained that the competition showcased projects developed through an eight-month upskilling program aimed at enhancing skills in virtual production and cartoon design. The program equipped creators and artists with the ability to integrate new technologies into high-quality content production.

The competition featured five entries in the Virtual Production category and twelve in the Cartoon Design category, allowing content creators to showcase their innovative ideas and marking a significant step forward for Thailand’s creative industry.

The knowledge and experience gained through this upskilling program provide a strong foundation for career growth and industry development, supporting the sustainability of Thailand’s creative sector and strengthening the nation’s soft power. This competition is part of a broader initiative to promote Thailand’s creative media industries and soft power.
The project focuses on enhancing workforce skills in media and multimedia, aiming to elevate Thailand’s creative media production to international standards.
