The NXPO team, led by Dr. Suchat Udomsopagit, Assistant to the President at NXPO, participated in a certification presentation ceremony for organizations implementing the Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO). The event was organized by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) on 19 March 2025.
NXPO was officially certified for CFO implementation, with its registration date recorded as 24 February 2025.
To prepare for CFO implementation, NXPO staff underwent corporate carbon footprint assessment training conducted by experts from the Technology and Informatics Institute for Sustainability (TIIS), under the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). The training equipped NXPO personnel with expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment and reporting, ensuring compliance with TGO’s certification guidelines. The CFO assessment quantities GHG emissions and removals resulting from an organization’s activities, helping identify the hot spot emissions sources and develop strategies for reducing environmental impact. This initiative reinforces NXPO’s commitment to carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions, in alignment with national sustainability goals.
