MHESI-NXPO and Thaksin University host Train-the-Trainer Workshop to develop coaches for social enterprise growth

วันที่เผยแพร่ 24 March 2025

The Thailand Higher Education and Innovation Policy Accelerator Division of NXPO, in collaboration with the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Sciences & Entrepreneurship (MuSE) at Thaksin University, organized a Train-the-Trainer Workshop on 18-21 March 2025 at Thaksin University, Phatthalung Campus.

The workshop aimed to enhance the skills and capacity of university faculty and staff, preparing them to serve as coaches in strategic planning and knowledge transfer for social enterprises. Participants engaged in sessions covering goal identification, target audience analysis, business planning, and coaching methodologies. The program emphasized hands-on learning and mentoring as part of the Coaching Skills Development Training Program to Support Social Enterprises, running from March to May 2025 at Thaksin University, Phatthalung Campus.

The workshop began with a Play & Learn session, where participants engaged in interactive exercises to identify goals, understand target audience needs, and explore social business models. These activities laid the groundwork for incubator training in April. Participants also developed skills in questioning techniques, analytical thinking, and trust-building, while learning to apply coaching tools such as FAST Model, GROW Model, and PQC (Insight Loop).

Trainees developed business plans using the Social Business Model Canvas (SBMC)—a key tool for social enterprise development. They conducted value chain analyses from upstream to downstream, simulated business creation, and explored organizational structures and operational models. Additionally, they gained deeper insights into the roles of Coach, Consultant, and Trainer through case studies of successful social enterprises.

The workshop concluded with a business incubation readiness session, where participants selected an organization or enterprise as a training model. This allowed them to apply coaching strategies and learn from successful social enterprises, further refining their incubation and mentoring skills.
