STI Policy Design Course was first conceived in 2019. The first year produced 28 graduates, with selected students receiving opportunities to present their work at the 2nd South East Asian Conference on STI Policy Management (2nd SEAC-STIPM 2019) held on 7-8 November 2019 in Malaysia.
Following the success of year 1, the enrollment of STI Policy Course Year 2 is more than double. The course syllabus is comprehensive, covering 27 topics to be delivered by a wide range of experts who have hands-on experience in driving the national policy. In addition to lectures on the fundamental principles of policy making process, participants will also learn from team project and site visits. As KMUTT will be hosting the 3rd SEAC-STIPM 2020, students will be actively taking part in this important conference to be held on 5-6 November 2020 in Bangkok.
