KidBright Online is an activity under AI@School sub-project. Dr. Saowaluck Kaewkamnerd, Senior Researcher in Educational Technology Research Team of the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), explained that KidBright Online aims to improve coding skill – which is the foundation of AI technology – of young generations. High school teachers in 200 schools have been trained to incorporate AI into the curriculum. A number of contests have been held for students to sharpen their skill and creativity. At the recent contest, held last week, students were tasked to design a voice model for an AI bot. In addition, an online learning platform dedicated to AI technology called “KidBright AI Platform” was recently launched to make the knowledge more accessible to teachers and students.
